Kyūtarō Kaminaga (神永 球太郎, Kaminaga Kyutaro) commonly referred to as God (神様, Kamisama), is a homeless man with extraordinary, future-seeing powers. His powers activate when he is sleeping, and his dreams provide him with visions of the future. He also has a passion for bowling, and talks about it often. He was the one responsible for the destruction of the secret base in order to build his bowling alley in the 70's.
Appearance[]
God's physical appearance throughout the story is generally the same. His attire, however, does change. When first seen, he wears generic rags and torn apart pieces of clothing. He also wears a cap and a pair of worn mittens.
Years later, after his financial success, God wears more stylished clothes, but he keeps the cap. He also grew his hair noticeably, now having a ponytail.
In his late thirties, God always wore a suit and had short hair.
Personality[]
God is a cryptic man. He often drops clues to Kenji and the others known only to him via his dreams but just as often refuses to elaborate on them. He also has a strong sense of loyalty, as he remains loyal to Kenji and his group years after the Bloody New Year's Eve even when he only met them for a brief time. He's also a man of his word, seeing as he did take care of Kanna when Kenji entrusted her to him.
God has an undying passion for bowling, and it's seemingly the only thing that can excite him.
As an adult, God is a very persistent businessman, and he's also a loud and inquiring man.
