Dr. Yamane (ヤマネ, Yamane) is a minor character in the 20th Century Boys series.
A former classmate of Kenji, he joined Fukubei's group of friends because of his strange obsession with the New Book of Prophecy. He later was part of Friend's inner circle, and developed with Kiriko the deadly virus his cult released during the Bloody New Year's Eve.
